WITH THE ANTIBIOTIC

  1. Take Ther-Biotic® ABx Support™ while on the antibiotic, you can also use Seeking Health Saccharomyces Boulardii, but the Ther-Biotic® ABx Support™ blend is specifically designed to go alongside antibiotics.

Saccharomyces Boulardii can help with antibiotic associated diarrhea and digestive distress. If you are struggling with that, take x 1 capsules per meal to help push out bad bacteria from coming in and taking over.  Sacc B helps to 'crowd out' those bugs and keep us from secondary infections.  This can also be used at higher doses to slow down diarrhea or antibiotic related diarrhea (2-3 per meal).

Also, recommended taking probiotics away from antibiotics and on an empty stomach i.e. antibiotic at 6am and 6pm, take probiotic 10am and 10pm. 2. Aloe Vera Juice or Gel - 1 tbsp aloe gel or 2 oz aloe juice with each treatment of antibiotics. ****This acts as a soothing support for the GI System as antibiotics can be harsh on the tissue. 3. Chelated Zinc - 1 serving twice a day. Zinc-carnosine supports healthy gastrointestinal mucosa and relieves mild gastric discomfort. 4. Utilize Well Cooked Vegetables and Soups - Digestion can take a hit with antibiotic use, so it is best to avoid lots of raw vegetables post-use, but you want to keep diversity of fibers (fruits and veggies) as much as you can, so we recommend utilizing soups, stews, and cooking your food well so it is less for the body to break down.   5. Bone Broth -  Bone broth is a nutritional powerhouse for the gut! It is rich in minerals, glutathione, glutathione, and gelatin. These nutrients can help support the gut after antibiotic treatment and speed up recovery.  One of our favorite brands is kettle and fire. 6. Avoid Processed Sugars - These will feed the 'bad bacteria' and cater to secondary infections. 7. Gut Gummies!  We love these as an easy, family favorite for helping our tummy restore itself, as they use bovine gelatin, which is extremely supportive post-antibiotics.
