Pregnancy Constipation Manual (1)
This method uses Vitamin C to energize the GI tract until it flushes and you experience an enema like evacuation, which requires supplements to get a high enough dose of vitamin C.
This is a great way to clear out old fecal matter and many clients report feeling βcleanerβ the next day.
A vitamin C flush can also be done anytime you might be feeling run down, recovering from illness or trauma/surgery, or your immune system simply needs a boost as this delivers very high doses of vitamin C in order to achieve tissue saturation β and in the process, supports the immune system and rapid healing.
Additionally, this can be a great way to prepare for a colonoscopy.
It is also helpful for those with other conditions.
<aside> ππΌ Factors which increase your requirement for vitamin C:
Vitamin C can also be supportive of reducing high LDL cholesterol, high blood pressure - specifically it may lower systolic blood pressure (top number), help relieve pain after surgery and after laser skin surgery (this would require a Vitamin C skin cream), and support limb pain after injury.

Purchase BUFFERED Ascorbic Acid Powder (Pure Encapsulations)

It is recommended you use a buffered vitamin C powder that includes calcium ascorbate and/or potassium ascorbate β this increases the pH (makes it less acidic) which reduces the risk of heartburn or gut inflammation that may occur when using high doses of ascorbic acid (the most common form of supplemental vitamin C).

<aside> ππΌ STEP 2:
Set aside one full day if this is your first time as it can take several hours. Start on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning.
You can eat normally throughout the day.
NOTE: Wait a minimum of 2 hours after taking the contraceptive pill or other medications before commencing the βCβ flush. Or take medications after.
Because the doses of vitamin C required are higher than standard recommendations, I recommend consulting with your health practitioner before completing a vitamin C flush.
